Space girls episode one – sexy rescue of the red planet.
When I was a kid I got hooked on those cheap sci fi channel shows, on tv. I wasn’t interested in the eureka sci fi moments or the space rangers adventures. Nope it was the sci fi girl in her tight space explorer space-suit and heeled boots that I tuned in for.
Some of the best sci fi movies have attractive space girls. That just goes to show, if you’re thinking of writing sci fi books or an all new space adventure don’t forget the space pinups.
Going back to my early sci fi shows memories; I clearly remember an episode about a gal buddy in space. Dressed head to toe in silver spandex, my space female was under threat of a fireball in space coming to crash onto her planet.
Ok, she did have some sci fi weapons; but nothing to battle comets in space. My space female had to act fast, so she put on her space helmet, got into her cute space ship one vehicle and headed for a mountaintop.
The space vehicles journey was captured with a superb space background; of volcanos and shooting stars. But this space girls adventure was far from over.
Ray gun girls at the ready.
At the mountain HQ she met up with other space pinups to formulate a plan; they were all sexy girl sci fi characters you understand. You can ask me a question like “who was the first american in space?” and I’d struggle.
But if you wanted me to explain the space picture I had in my head of four feisty sci fi space maidens in that space a travel episode – I could give you a full un-edited description.
The space girls all set off in a cool and quirky pimp my space rocket. I wish I was a photographer back then; I would’ve taken so many pictures of space babes & of my space girls outfits there would be no room for anything else!
Come to think of it, the whole plot was a little like plan 9 from outer space. As a space monkey piloted the rocket. Wow those space photos of my sexy pinups might’ve been a little shaky, with an ape at the joystick!
Did they save the day? Of course they did.
Would a hott girl space movie ever have a sad ending? The pictures of space babes in that show remain as fresh today as they did then – though my memory fades a little about the monkey.
I’m sure a sci fi channel uk repeat must be due, or perhaps a sci fi convention will invite some of the cool outer space babes back to sign some posters – if only I could remember the name of the show?
